Our People

Anything’s Pawsible Pet Program started as the dream of Amber Abbott while she was in college. In the years following, she worked training dogs, with rescue organizations, and participating in agility, teaching junior handlers of all ages. Amber shared her passion and vision with her best friend Allison Davisson, a fellow dog lover. Together, they decided 2016 was the year to make it official and form their non-profit organization, Anything’s Pawsible Pet Program.

Amber Abbott

Amber Abbott, dog trainer in Peoria Arizona

Founder, Program Director

Amber’s love for animals started when she was a youth working for a dog training facility. She went on to compete nationally as a Junior Handler in agility, winning multiple championships, and has participated in agility training for over 20 years.

Amber is now the mother of a beautiful little girl, and shares her home with nine fun dogs, many of whom are rescues. Over the years, Amber has fostered dozens of dogs and through her training and patience, each of them found forever homes.

Amber received her degree in Recreation Management in 2000, and worked as a Youth Coordinator at the YMCA and Boys and Girls Club of Tucson. After moving to Peoria, Arizona in 2004, she started a dog agility training business and played a principal role in expanding the local Junior Handler program.

Today, she is excited to combine her passion for helping rescue dogs and the youth of Arizona, while fulfilling her dream for the Anything’s Pawsible Pet Program.

Allison Davisson

Co-Founder, Youth Coordinator

Allison is a life-long lover of animals. She currently shares her home with six wonderful dogs, and has been training and competing in a variety of dog-related activities since 2005.

Allison is the mother of twin sons who are both attending college here in Arizona. “Go Wildcats and Sun Devils!” Now that Allison’s sons are young adults, her time that was previously spent supporting them academically and athletically is being channeled into this new adventure: teaching children to train rescue dogs.

Allison’s experience includes working in veterinary hospitals and as a customer service representative, both of which relied on her ability to bring a positive, careful, and creative perspective into everything she does. This year, as in every year, she looks forward to supporting your children through a fun and successful journey in the Anything’s Pawsible Pet Program.
